This baby is HOT! The extra wide landing gear makes for incredibly safe, easy handling whether taxiing, taking off or landing. The Fury is an easy tail dragger to transition into. In the air, I had another flashback. The Fury feels like a fighter, light, quick, firm positive control in all axes. Aerobatics are a breeze and as I played with the Fury I realized I could do everything I did in the Mustang except go 500 MPH (but I hear they're working on that). The Fury put a smile on my face like the one I had after my first real kiss. You know the one, a little wicked. You almost have to ask ... "Is this legal?"

First
impressions are important; they set the tone for the rest of the
relationship. The airplanes that really excite me must be fast,
fun and sexy. I've been flying BearCats and P51's for four
decades so the bar is set pretty high.

a flashback, the Fury sits like a P-51 Mustang. The cockpit is
spectacular; red leather interior, dual sticks, full panel and
several clever accessories. Most notable is the Taxi-Cam, a 5
inch screen displaying everything in front of you for safe
taxiing. The throttle is unique with the cowl and wing flap
switches sitting atop it for hands on throttle accessibility (HOTAS).
