Dave's end of the hangar Well it’s another fine summer here at the LoPresti hangar in Vero Beach. We have lots of new projects in work and that always makes for a fast fun work week. We have so much stuff that I can’t talk about but some things I can tell you. Did you see the cool wheel pants we had for the non-certified market at our booth in Sun-N-Fun? These pants will gain over 6 mph on an RV and we plan to start taking orders at the Arlington flyin in July. Don’t worry if you aren’t going to Arlington, Washington. We will also be at Airventure too. We have been steadily tweaking our wheelpants mod for the Piper series and these pants are just gorgeous. Easier access to the brake caliper and to the airvalve PLUS much improved materials will make this “the kit to own” for all Piper Cherokee and Saratoga fixed gear owners.
In our engineering lab we have a pile of cool electronics that are being fine tuned. Some are so exciting that I cannot wait to share them with you BUT mom told me I can’t tell you just yet. Soon, but not just yet. With summer upon us I just know you are cleaning a lot of bugs off your airplane. You really need SpeedCoat. Bugs just can’t stick. Ask your local FBO if they are carrying it. This is our hottest product selling through our network of FBO Partners. Follow the link below for more information. I thought I would give you a little update about my family. Mom is doing great. Everyone asks about her and yes she is still “the Supreme Commander”. She still at every staff meeting and is both sweet and ornery as ever. I have one kid in Baghdad as a paramedic so if you are in the green zone say hi to Becky for me. The next oldest kid is now working for Duncan Aviation in Houston. What a first class operation. Matt has died and gone to mechanic heaven. The youngest kid is Mike and he is on summer vacation here in Vero Beach and I think I have convinced him to stay until we move to Sebastian in January. Mike is a film maker and will be working on our DVD library for the LoPrestiFury and a new series of DVDs that I will tell you about later in the year.

immediately to the Swift National Flyin in
Athens, TN

Did you know that we are expanding our operations into Sebastian and that is were our new headquarters will be? The Sebastian Airport is one of the prettiest airports in the state and people there are helpful and friendly. Flying into Sebastian is like coming home and it will be our new home in January. If you are coming to First Saturday make sure you make time to learn about Sebastian. Fishing, golfing, kayaking, and boating are great at Sebastian. We are always at the airport working and I never took the time to find out but one day I had an epiphany..... I live in Florida. People come from around the world to have fun here. So I decided to give this "fun stuff" a try. Kayaking the Sebastian river is WAY COOL. Next up is boating and fishing and maybe some vacation time . Hey maybe there IS life away from the airport!!!
